The North Western Deanery has lead employers
for specialty training who will employ trainees for the duration of
their training with us regardless of where they are allocated in
the North Western Deanery. Our lead employers are as follows:
Greater Manchester
West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
The Greater Manchester West team lead on
recruitment to Psychiatry training for the North Western
Deanery.
Pennine Acute Hospitals
NHS Trust
The Pennine team lead on recruitment to
specialty training in all hospital/acute specialties for the North
Western Deanery.
North
Lancashire Primary Care Trust
North Lancashire Teaching PCT act as the Lead Employment
Organisation for all GP Specialty Trainees. They do not lead on
recruitment to GP specialty training programmes.
