Specialty Recruitment Profiles & Timelines 2012

Medical Royal Colleges in the UK are responsible for different specialities within the medical field. They are tasked with supervising the training of doctors within each speciality and work closely with the Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PMETB) and the Modernising Medical Careers (MMC) programme team.

Many Colleges and Lead Deaneries now oversee the recruitment to specialty training programmes nationally and the pages here give an overview of each nationally co-odinated speciality in Round One and Round Two with links to their websites.
