The Royal Colleges and Faculties
The Royal Colleges are professional membership organisations
that aim to ensure high quality care for patients by promoting the
highest standards of clinical practice. They set standards,
conduct assessments and examinations and support doctors in their
practice of medicine, as well as advising the Government, the
public and the profession on health care issues.
