Medical Specialty Numbers report now published on CfWI

The Centre for Workforce Intelligence (CfWI), the new national
authority for workforce planning established earlier this year, has
produced its first report. The report presents an analysis on the
numbers of doctors going into medical specialty training and makes
recommendations on numbers of training places for 2011 intake. This
report is the first of a number that CfWI will produce to examine
the shape and size of the overall workforce needed for the NHS of
the future.
