Every year, Royal Colleges, NHS Employers, Deaneries, the BMA and other stakeholders work with the Department of Health to agree improvements in recruitment to medical specialty training.  Decisions are informed by the previous years’ experience and by feedback from trainee doctors and others in the medical profession and the NHS.
